The Beginning

Rooted in a journey that stretches from the landscapes of Anatolia to building a life in modern cities like New York, Loomvana exists as a bridge between heritage and modern living. It was born from a desire to preserve a traditional craft while introducing it to a new audience — one that values meaningful design, slow creation, and pieces that carry a soul.

Growing up surrounded by kilims, these textiles were never simply objects. They carried tradition, memory, and a deep sense of home. Years later, as the founder embarked on a personal journey that led to the United States, those familiar patterns became a source of comfort abroad—quietly reconnecting him to his roots and inspiring a renewed commitment to preserving this timeless craft.

Crafted from scratch, the way it has always been

Each Loomvana rug is made by hand from start to finish — from preparing the natural fibers to dyeing, weaving, edging, and finishing. The process is intentionally slow, requiring patience, strength, and an incredible level of skill. Nothing is rushed, and nothing is automated.

Every knot, every motif, every color shift is the result of time, effort, and the dedication of artisans who honor their craft with every weave.

Rooted in heritage. Designed for today.

Loomvana represents the balance between where we come from and where we are, between old-world craft and new-world aesthetics, between tradition and modern comfort. It’s about elevating the spaces we live in while honoring the hands that make it possible.

This is only the beginning.

As the collection grows, so does our commitment to sustainability, social impact, and transparency. Our goal is not only to bring exceptional kilim rugs into the world — but to uplift the artisans behind them, preserve a cultural legacy, and offer pieces that become part of your story, too.
